Let’s just start with the obvious: Moms are the real MVPs.
The ones who keep the household humming, the tiny humans alive, the emotional climate somewhat stable, and the fridge—well, at least semi-stocked. Mother’s Day is that once-a-year reminder that we’re supposed to be celebrated, pampered, appreciated… and maybe even allowed to pee in peace.
So today, I want to send out a heartfelt, bone-deep THANK YOU to all the mamas—biological, bonus, adoptive, step, chosen, spiritual, foster, and fur-baby types too. You show up in a million different ways, often thanklessly, and you still find energy to braid hair, wipe tears, juggle calendars, and probably carry roughly five grocery bags at once like some kind of domestic Hercules.
Whether your day is full of burnt toast lovingly made by tiny hands, a fancy brunch with bottomless Mom-osas, or just 20 blessed minutes of uninterrupted silence, I hope it’s exactly what your heart needs.

And now, a gentle PSA…
How you’re treated today?
That’s the blueprint for how the father figures in your life should be treated come June.
That’s right—I said it. Effort for effort.
If today you get a sweet homemade card, a family hike, and someone else doing the dishes?
Wonderful. Do that for Dad.
If you got a solo spa day and a nap that required a signed peace treaty with the household?
He deserves one, too.
It’s not about scorekeeping—it’s about balance, baby.
Matching energy. Mutual respect. Teamwork.
So mamas, soak in the love today. You’ve earned every bit of it—and then some. And when Father’s Day rolls around? Let’s keep the standard we set and give back the energy we receive.

Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mom out there!
You are seen, loved, and appreciated—today and always.
