On November 3, 2024, our lives changed forever when Bear, our beloved minx kitten, joined our family. Born without a tail, she quickly became more than just a pet; she was our comfort, our joy, and our little bear cub.
From day one, Bear filled our home with laughter and adventure, with her playful spirit and endless curiosity. However, this past Friday turned our world upside down when Bear unexpectedly fell ill. At first, I thought it was just a minor issue, but when she refused to eat her favorite treat, I knew something was seriously wrong.
In a rush to help her, we sought immediate veterinary care, only to receive devastating news: Bear was in critical condition, and the estimated treatment costs exceeded our means. After discussing our options, we faced the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our sweet girl.
The pain of that farewell was overwhelming, made even harder by the financial burden of the services which cost $550.95. This meant I had to dip into savings meant for essential car repairs to ensure I could honor her memory.
