I’m beyond excited to introduce a brand-new series on the blog called “Because Someone Noticed”—a heartfelt tribute to the quiet change makers in our community. These are the folks, nonprofits, and local groups who pour their time, talent, and tenacity into making life better for others, often without expecting anything in return.
Whether it’s the neighbor who organizes food drives out of their garage, the nonprofit making big waves on a small budget, or the teacher who always goes the extra mile without fanfare—this series is here to shine a light on the people doing the real work behind the scenes.

How It Works
All features in this series are based on nominations. That’s right—you won’t see people self-submitting or applying for the spotlight. Instead, it’s up to you, the readers and neighbors, to speak up when you see someone doing something extraordinary.
