Braden’s path to entrepreneurship was anything but conventional. After moving to Northern California in 2012, where his family had deep roots, life took a challenging turn. During his late teens and early adulthood, he fell into addiction and the lifestyle that comes with it. He spent a decade fighting with addiction which left him feeling helpless and hopeless
It was only when Braden reached rock bottom and sought local help that things began to change for the better. With the support of a 12-step program, he rebuilt his life and once again felt hope for the future. He soon started a job that led him to join the Union of Ironworkers. There, he was trained in the art of welding and became highly skilled in wire-fed welding.
When COVID-19 disrupted work in the industry, Braden made a bold decision to invest in his own welder. What began as small weekend projects for friends soon blossomed into a full-fledged business fueled by referrals and word of mouth. In just four years Precision Welding is thriving and has an impressive portfolio that includes both private projects and county contracts.
Braden’s favorite part of running the business is simple yet meaningful: receiving referrals from satisfied customers. “It’s the best,” he says. “It just reminds me that going the extra mile really matters.” This commitment to exceeding expectations has earned Precision Welding a reputation for quality and reliability within the community.
